Aliens the Ride made in Planet Coaster
“Game over man… Game over!”
Planet coaster is a construction and management simulation game where you can build pretty much anything using the games theme park based assets. Frontier Developments game allows for players to build entire theme parks and rides from scratch, and there are some pretty impressive creations finding their way online. Some, like Hin Nya’s Aliens Ride, are just bind blowing.
Rather than building a traditional ride, which resides inside and around a building, Hin has utilized an entire park to build this epic ride based on James Cameron’s Aliens. The 15 minute experience takes you on a fly by tour of all the films set pieces, including the drop ship landing and the Alien Queens nests. Taking you through space, miles of darkly lit corridors, and of course, into the very heart of the Xenomorphs lair, this heart pounding dark-ride will have you on the edge of your seat.
It took two months build and includes over 70000 painstakingly crafted into object for the ride. Hin’s clever use of screens (which allow you to project videos on), effects and lighting have created an epic journey that is sure to thrill. Sit back, turn off the lights and turn up the volume… enjoy!
