SALEM’S LOT does indeed look like a smart theatrical play, and closes with a killer trailer moment similar to that first CONJURING trailer that helped make that movie such a hit. Just swap in Bill Camp for Lily Taylor. — Jeff Sneider (@TheInSneider) April 27, 2022
The #CinemaCon trailer debut of Salem’s Lot is eerie, creepy, and full of Bill Camp! In theaters this September! pic.twitter.com/3DfajUCiK5

The James Wan-produced SALEM’S LOT has a decently creepy trailer (so many creaky doors!), plus Bill Camp in what looks like a lead role, so I’m sold. #CinemaCon pic.twitter.com/9tO8lG8we5 — Barry Hertz (@HertzBarry) April 27, 2022
True story, @MattDonnelly loudly screamed during the trailer for #SalemsLot at #CinemaCon. People in the town are turning into vampires, and it looks terrifying

WB knows how to cut a trailer because the first #salemslot trailer looks great. Hopefully studio releases soon. #CinemaCon — Steven Weintraub (@colliderfrosty) April 27, 2022
The new movie stars Lewis Pullman, Pilou Asbæk, Bill Camp, Alfre Woodard & Makenzie Leigh alongside a YET TO BE NAMED character for William Sadler, who we have our bets on paying the films head vampire Mr. Barlow. It certainly sounds as if the trailer has hit all the right notes, so us fans will just have to wait now for it to spring upon the greater world. Hopefully it won’t be too long now.
In the film:
“Haunted by an incident from his childhood, author Ben Mears returns to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover the town is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire and his Loyola servant”
It was announced recently that the new film will ONLY be in cinemas, and will hit screens on September 9th. Until then, expect the trailer to start scratching at your window late one evening.
