Lockdown Poster for Original Halloween!
Released in 1978, John Carpenter’ Halloween set the template for the entire slasher sub-genre, and pretty much paved way for modern slasher films. With the huge success of director David Gordon Green and co-writer Danny McBride’s 2018’s Halloween reboot, the next chapter (and even a third film) are already underway. Halloween Kills, the sequel to the 2018 Halloween, has already put their baby in the can and the film is currently set for a Halloween release, with no current push back. The third film, Halloween Ends, will be shooting next year. These new films bring back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, as she continues to be hunted by Michael Myers.
