Halloween Sequel Takes a Step Closer
After grossing more than 253.7 million USD, a sequel is now only a matter of time. Thanks to Collider, it sounds like Blumhouse are certainly not sitting on their hands, as s Narcos producer Scott Teems is reportedly penning the sequel. It’s a safe bet to say that Halloween stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer and Andi Matichak will all return as Micheal Myers once again stalks the folks of to Haddonfield. Despite the bleak outlook for Myers, off the back of the 2018 sequel, their has yet to be a Halloween film that has kept the man in the mask down.
Teems himself made his feature directorial debut in 2009 with his indie flickThat Evening Sun. For the Halloween sequel, he’s only making a deal to write the script. This is not a huge surprise, considering his previous work for Blumhouse. Teems adapted two Stephen King’s books for the company, Firestarter and novella The Breathing Method.
There’s no timetable in place yet, but once the scripts signed off, we’ll be seeing Myers back on the big screen, once more!
