Halloween Reshoot Will Tweak Ending
Howdy Horror Fans. Fans of Michael Myers will be pleased to hear that David Gordon Green is taking things seriously and has been green lit for reshoots for the october releases of Halloween. Our buddies over at Bloody Disgusting have dropped the word that test screenings had some feedback the director did not like.
“Bloody Disgusting has learned that Green is getting back behind the camera to shoot additional scenes for his Halloween, which slashes into theaters this coming October. Sources tell me that the agenda is to tweak the finale following a recent test screening”
The main goal is to tweak the movie’s ending, with these reshoots, happening in response to audience reactions to the early cut. That’s not a bad thing at all.
So whilst the re-shoots are going on, we can all look forward to the Trailer coming out soon, which made quite an impression over at Cinecom recently.
Jamie Lee Curtis returns once more into the shoes of Laurie Strode in a 40-years-later sequel that will completely retcon all but the first Halloween film. With all the unnecessary baggage of killing off family members and curses, Michael can finally get back to what his best at slashing the hell out of Haddonfield.
Michael will return home on October 19th 2018.
