Two New Images from Zack Snyder “Army of the Dead”

If there’s one person we can all trust with a zombie film, it’s Snyder, after he wowed us all back in 2004 with the James Gunn-penned remake of Dawn of the Dead. It’s probably safe to assume that it’s set in the same universe of Dawn, so expect fast, agile, zombies looking to rip throats out.
The new film is due for release at some point this year, hopefully hitting Netflix in the first half of the year. Entertainment Weekly dropped these two images to keep us all going until Army of the Dead drops.
Snyder addressed the films saying
“It is a full-blown, balls-to-the-wall zombie heist movie, so it’s genre-on-genre in a great way… So you expect pure zombie mayhem, and you get that, 100 percent. But also you get these really amazing characters on a fantastic journey. It’s going to surprise people that there’s a lot of warmth and real emotion with these great characters.”
The films synopsis reads…
“Following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.”
