The Warrens Return for Annabelle 3

It looks like Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will be returning for another conjuring movie…just not the one you want! As the horror films series continues to produce spin offs, like a clown car producing clowns, in an endless stream of weirdness, we were all wondering when we would next see the ghost hunting couple. Well, it seems they will be turning up for the second sequel to Annabelle. 

Wilson and Farmiga played real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren in 2013’s The Conjuring and 2016’s The Conjuring 2, both based on haunting the couple claimed to have dealt with. Annabelle become the series first spin off in 2004, concentrating on a doll briefly seen in the first film. 

Whilst the first two films looked at how the doll become possessed and how the Warrens came into it’s possession, the next film will see the Warrens battling against the demonic doll, as it escaped their artefact room and sets its sights on the Warrens daughter Judy.

THR broke the news and added that the film will be written and directed by Gary Dauberman, who penned the previous two instalments.

No name or release date just yet, but all in good time! The big question is still, when is the Conjuring 3 coming out, or is this going to be it?
