Sharkweek – Could Sharknado really happen?
The entire point of the ‘Sharknado‘ films is their ridiculous premise. It’s easy to sit and pick holes in this cheaply made SyFy films until you get the joke, that’s the whole point. The Film WANTS you to pick holes in it. The films makers love all the bad press and people spazzing out over their keyboards, just as long as the film is making an impact.

Sharknado is a film about a weather system that makes it possible for sharks to fly, it’s not exactly high art. Love it or hate it, it’s become a staple of cheaply made movies and with plans for many more sequels, we have not yet seen the last of those flying sharks. But is it possible? Could there really be a Sharknado?
