Jenna Ortega Cast as ‘Wednesday’ Addams in Tim Burton’s Netflix Series!
Back in February, we told you about the brand new Tim Burton TV series based on The Adams Family, The Netflix show will fill focus on the families troubled teenage daughter and will be named “Wednesday”. Well, now we have a face to go with name , as Jenna Ortega (The Babysitter: Killer Queen) has signed up for the lead role.
The show will follow Wednesday at boarding school where she’s learning to master her growing set of abilities. But school yard politics, friendships and romance won't be the only things Wednesday will have to face, as a new growing evil threat has her sleuthing "Scooby Doo" style through the school halls. Whilst this does stings a little like a Harry Potter cash grab, re-skinned with the Adam's family, Burton's involvement will really be key here to the show's success.
