‘IT’ DVD & Blu-ray Release Emerges and Sinks!
‘IT’ DVD & Blu-ray Release Info Emerges and Sinks!
It feels like a lifetime ago that Andy Muschietti’s IT smashed records at the box office in October. Many of us fans have been waiting eagerly for info on the DVD Blu-ray release, hoping to fill an ‘IT’ shaped hole in our Christmas wish list. Sadly, anyone hoping to get a copy wrapped up under their tree this year might be disappointed as news of the films home video release trickles out of the sewer. ‘IT’ won’t hit shelves until January 9, 2018. Bummer!
However, there is some tinsel infused news, there will be digital version on sale December 19th, so any super eager fans can still enjoy terrifying their friends and family with Pennywise’s awesome antics.
“When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.”
The January release will see the film available on a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack and also a Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack. The discs will include a bare bones release with no audio commentary or extended edition (as was hinted), instead you will get a handful of short documents and Eleven deleted scenes. Double Bummer!!
