Guillermo Del Toro Turns Twitter Blue

Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy, and Pacific Rim director Guillermo Del Toro has turned the internet blue with a tweet directed at games company Konami. Relationships with Konomi fell apart last year when they parted ways with games director Hideo Kojima and the Silent hills Project was canned. Silent hills was a collaboration between Kojima, Guillermo Del Toro and Norman Reedus, star of The Walking dead. A teaser, called simply PT (Playable Teaser) had fans very excited but Konami quickly buried the project when Kojima left.

Speaking with Bloody Disgusting, Del Toro said:

“We had a great experience and had great story sessions with hundreds upon hundreds of designs,” he said. “Some of the stuff that we were designing for Silent Hills I’ve seen in games that came after, like The Last of Us, which makes me think we were not wrong, we were going in the right direction, The thing with Kojima and Silent Hills is that I thought we would do a really remarkable game and really go for the jugular.”

Earlier this year, Del Toro and Kojima announced a new project called Death Stranding, starring Norman Reedus and Dr. Hannibal Lecter himself, Mads Mikkelsen! A recent trailer hit also showing someone that looks remarkable like Guillermo Del Toro. In response to the trailer hitting the internet, Del Toro tweeted.
