Friday the 13th Might Have a New Director!

Our friends over at Bloody Disgusting have just broke some cool news about the upcoming Friday the 13th remake. The Last Witch Hunter director Breck Eisner, is in talks to direct the new reboot of the slasher series. Being the 2nd attempt at getting the series back up and running, Aaron Guzikowski has already turned in a script , which is being called “origin-ish” (what ever that means?!)

What we know is that Pamela Voorhees will make an appearance along side Jason father in a different take on the original story. Eisner is certainly a great choice for the film. Anyone that saw the remake of The Crazies back in 2010 knows that he certainly is up to the task of taking a film and refreshing it, and the The Last Witch Hunter proves he can handle a big budget.

We will all find out when the film is released on Friday, January 13, 2017.
