IT Logo Revealed
Earlier this week, Muschietti posted some photos on his Instagram to celebrating the production of IT finally getting underway. And whilst a lot of people got excited about a drawing of an evil looking clown, I was more taken back by the reveal of the new Logo.
Muschietti posted a picture of his chair, with the logo on the back, along with some balloons in a lift and a sketch of a clown. I would not get to excited about the clown picture, as I’m sure the production will be keeping his new look underwraps until the films trailer/release.
As we reported previously, Muschietti’s adaptation will split King’s original 1986 novel into two movies. Starring opposite Penny wise Bill Skarsgård will be the Losers Club, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
More casting news reveal that we will indeed get to see the terrifying leper sequence at the House on Neibolt Street, as Javier Botet is cast as the leper.
The First part of IT is due out next year.
This news that the New IT film is going to include the house on Neibolt is very interesting. As we have discussed before, it does indeed look as if th film is going to stick very close to the book. Eddies experience with the Leper leads both Bill and Richie to discover that they can hurt IT, when Richie’s werewolf is fouled by some sneezing powder. This is the genesis of the Losers Club’s battle and a huge turning point in the book.
