Well it took some of the biggest names in Hollywood decades to get Bill Murray back in a jumpsuit, but it took Rivian, a electric vehicle company, all of few shakes of a proton pack to get him thier latest commercial.

Suited back up as Dr. Peter Venkman, this hillarious advert thrusts us into the thick of the action as Peter, in his new Rivian EV Ecto-R1, attends a haunted house, one spirited away by his arch nemesis Slimer!

The VFX, lighting, costume and camera work are just mindblowing, better than that of the reason few films. Which is interesting becuse it was Directed by Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire director Gil Kenan.

The cross-promotion with Sony Pictures includes this epic commercial, physical display builds of the Ecto-R1 touring six major U.S. cities, and an over-the-air "Halloween Mode" software update for Rivian R1 and R2 owners from October 9 through November 2 2026.

It's good time to go bustin... Check out the Commercial below.
