Watch the ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon‘ Tease
Sneaking in to the premimer episode of TWD’s latest new show The Walking Dead: Dead City, a brief tease played during the show. Both Dead City and Daryl’s show were teased back in 2020, when the main show had to re-invent itself following the departure of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes. The spin-off was originally announced as a duo show with Carol and Daryl’s journeying together in eurpoe. However, actress Melissa McBride (Carol) could not make the location shoots in Europe and had to pull from the project, leaving Norman Reedus‘ Daryl to hold the show alone.
The show will star Norman Reedus‘ along side Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis , Anne Charrier, Laika Blanc Francard, Eriq Ebanouey, Romain Levi and Louis Puech Scigliuzzi.
“Set after the series conclusion of TWD, the Reedus-led offshoot finds the zombie apocalypse fan favorite transported across the Atlantic to France and a whole new level of a world gone mad. Poesy will play the female lead Isabelle, a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis protrays Quinn, a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.”
The teaser is pretty simple… Daryl in a boat floating in the Atlantic.
