‘Resident Evil’ Featurette Introduces Chris Redfield
Following the recent trailer for Sony’s Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, we now have our very first look at star Robbie Amell as the iconic video game character Chris Redfield.
The new film is promising to follow the video game series a lot closer than the original film series, and with environments and characters pulled directly from the source material, it’s certainly looking like the film adaption everyone had been waiting for.
Whilst we wait for the films release on November 24th, Sony has been tempting us with our first look at the films characters. Amell will be jumping into Resident Evil character Chris Redfield, who discovers that the Umbrella Corporation have been experimenting on the outskirts of Racoon City, with biologicals weapons.
“Set in 1998, this origin story explores the secrets of the mysterious Spencer Mansion and the ill-fated Raccoon City. Survivors try to uncover the truth behind the evil Umbrella Corp. while battling bloodthirsty zombies in the wastelands of Raccoon City.”
The new featurette explores Chris’s motivation that turn him from a small town cop into an action hero. You can check out the video below.
