Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer Stomps Online

Prepare to Run….again. Earlier this week, the trailer for next years big summer blockbuster Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stomped onto our screens. Following the success of the Jurassic World, it was only a matter of time before a sequel dropped into place. However, after keeping the story pretty hush hush, we now know the plot and it’s….pretty weak!

After the demise of the Jurassic World theme park on Isla Nublar, the dinosaurs roam freely on the island for four years until a volcanic eruption threatens their existence. Claire Dearing, the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to saving the dinosaurs. Claire recruits Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to help her rescue the remaining dinosaurs from the island. Owen also attempts to locate Blue, the last remaining of the 4 raptors he trained that was left behind on the island but Owen and Claire discover a conspiracy that endangers both humanity and the dinosaurs

So what? They built one of the most advanced theme parks on top of a volcano? I think I would have liked to have seen a fully operational park toppled buy a volcano… that would have been cool!

Stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return alongside co-stars James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin and Daniella Pineda.

I was always sceptical about a sequel. I loved  Jurassic World’s plot with a working park. I can’t help but feel that as soon as you leave the “park” part behind, the films start to loose steam. Look at the two sequels that followed Jurassic Park. Will it be any good? Only time will tell. The film is due out June 7th, 2018. You can check it out yourself below.
