The mall (or shopping center for you Eurpean beasties), has been a staple of the Zombie Apocalypse scenario fro many mnay years. Starting off when, the grandfather of the sub-genre, George A. Romero created his horror sequel Dawn of the Dead. Whilst the original flesh-ripping horror from 1978 was widely acclaimed, the 2004 remake manged to devide the horror community, especially Romero himslef, who thought the film lacked scares and felt like a “video Game”. One of the films biggest critique was it’s lack of sub-text that the orginal had. You tuber Wow Such Gaming has another bone to pick with the film, over the characters motivations.
