David Cronenberg’s 1987 horror The Fly is highly regarded as one of the best remakes ever made, alongside one of the better body-horror movies that encapsulate this period of film. Trying to compare the original 1958 film with Cronenberg’s master piece is like comparing chalk and cheese, but that has not stopped The Remaker from giving it a good crack.
Here’s the very first episode of The Remaker! Each episode compares an original film to its modern take.
