Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho is a masterpiece of cinema, and even today, we find ourselves picking apart the film, studying it from a psychoanalytic point of view, in the hopes to uncover new insight. Many believe that Hitchcock was not only a great filmmaker, but a master of manipulation, forcing audiences into becoming voyeurs and framing shots to maximise anxiety and fear.
