Crazy Rampage Plot Revealed

Do you Remember growing to gigantic proportions, climbing up buildings so you could smashing them up and watching as they crumbled into the ground? No…then you probably never played the classic Rampage video game, which sees a giant Gorilla, Lizard and wolf demolishing a city skyline. 

Just recently New Line Cinema announced that they’d be adapting the arcade game into a feature film, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is attached to star. With films like Godzilla, King Kong and Pacific Rim bringing giant rampaging creatures back to the silver screen, you can understand why New Line would be behind a beloved video game adaption.

This weekend, Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to explain to everyone about the crazy plot line of the new film.

“I head up an anti poaching unit out of Rwanda. My best friend is a rare albino gorilla named, George. Very bad people infect George, an alligator and a wolf with a serum. All three animals grow at an unprecedented rate. Their size, speed, agility and violent aggression is off the charts. They go on a deadly rampage and want to destroy the world. George not happy. Me not happy. When animals like you, they lick you. When they don’t like you, they kill you. I will hunt down the bad people who did this to my best friend. And when I find them, I will not lick them.

“We have the best VFX monster making team (WETA) on the planet. Our actors and crew have been working very hard to raise the monster genre bar. As always, let’s have some fun. Let’s shoot.”

The incredible cast also includes Naomie Harris (28 Days Later), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (“The Walking Dead”) and Malin Akerman (The Final Girls). 

Rampage is due for release April 20, 2018.
